| Kidney pain, dark urine - what could it be?
Hi all, I've been on accutane for about 4 months now. I haven't had any problems and my blood tests have been good, although I had a slightly elevated AlkPhos this month. I've been avoiding alcohol almost entirely (1-2 beers once in a while), until about 2 weeks ago when I lost control and got drunk. I woke up the next morning very dehydrated, with some mild discomfort/pain in the general region of my kidneys. Since then, the discomfort has been intermittant, sometimes on the left side, sometimes on the right, sometimes toward the back, sometimes toward the front. My urine is a little dark, and sometimes smells, but I think it's been somewhat like this since I've been 1-2 months into the accutane cycle. I'm a little worried that I might have problems with my kidneys. What do you guys think?
