cloudy urine in morning - Kidney Disorders Message Board

Is this normal when you first wake up to have darker,cloudy foggy looking urine? I do take a lot of supplements in the evening,including doxycycline for skin.Also,prior to bed,I drink milk and eat a high protein bar. I recently had lab work done that showed a high bun level ,30,with a very normal creatnine level. Two drs said it was nothing to worry about since I had just consumed a very,very high protein meal prior to test and I was also dehydrated that day. Also,once I have been awake and consumed fluids,my urine is perfectly normal looking.just wondering if this was normal.thanks

It's perfectly normal! As long as you're not puffy (i.e. your eyes and your ankles) you're fine.
