Least damaging pain killer for irritated kidneys

Anybody know what the least damaging pain killer I could use that would be the least irritating to my kidneys?I can't tolerate normal pain killers like Tylenol and Ibuprofen.

Re: Least damaging pain killer for irritated kidneys

Well, if you have any degree of kidney failure, you shouldn't use any NSAID drugs...these include things like aspirin, ibuprofen, naprosen....etc. Tylenol shouldn't irritate you--it's not processed by the kidneys...rather, the liver.

Short of narcotics or low-dose antidepressants (certain ones act as analgesics at low doses), that's about the only thing you can use!
