Need some ideas please
Hi, I am new to the kidney board. And would like some information, or some help with understanding about all this. Thanks
A little about what is going on with me:
After I had my last child 2 years ago I had a sever kidney infection, 106.6 fever and 148 heart beats a min. The doctors were very worried as my family was to. I was in the hosp for 5 days had 13 different IV's because my veins kept blowing. Well, anyway, ever since then I have had sever pain in my kidney, mostly on the left, but sometimes on the right. As time goes on the worse the pain and more frequent it has been coming. I have told the doctors about it and they said since I have no more infection not to worry about it. Well, I am very worried about it so I went yesterday to see a new doctor. She took a urine test and it came back normal, no infection. But when she touched the area around my kidney it was very painful. The pain comes and goes all day, with sometimes being so sever that I cant move and all I can do is cry. It has been getting worse as time goes on. The new doctor is concerned and has ordered for me to have a test done soon. They are going to shoot die in and check them out. Here are some of my symptoms that I have.
Low urine out put, tired, pain, nausea, headaches, feel like I have to go and then tinkle, Once in a while I will have somewhat a normal output, and a few others, but these are the main ones.
I looked on the web at a few different kidney sights, but the symptoms I am having can be a lot of things, the doctor said she does not think it is kidney stones, she said it sounds like kidney disease or something else I cant remember.
Does anyone know where I could find out anything? The web sights I have gone to does not really say to much. Plus Some of the symptoms they list I do not have, like blood in the urine is a big one. I did not have blood yesturday, but I don't know if you can have blood one day and not another. This is all new to me.
Anyone have anything like this happen? Does anyone have any ideas?
I am worried and would like to know as much as I can before I go for the test and talk to the doctor again.
Thanks for reading.
Blessings, Chele
