So he called me to say "congratulations, its over." I tried to tell him that there was no way I passed this stone but he didn't believe me. So I went to a urologist. He took one look at the XRAY and saw the stone immediately! Said I had a 50% chance of passing it and wanted to give it another week. 2 days later I was blocked up and in agony for 3 hours then it went away since then I have been in extreme discomfort urinating, have had the chills and shakes. So I went back today with new Xrays. He said we could wait longer to see if it comes out or just remove it. I said to remove it.
So far in the past 3 weeks I have either been late for work or left early so many times because of this its becoming a problem. So I said to remove it. Hope I made the right choice. He said he is going to go "up there" with a scope and take a look and try to lazer it if he can otherwise he will just pull it out. He said I will have a sedative an be home that night.
Wish me luck! |
Hi Winterwolfes,
Do me a favor and while you are waiting to have this procedure done, drink alot of lemonade and take magnesium and b6 supplements, this will help in the passing of the stone, it may make it go down further, the acid in the lemonade may help with breaking the stone down, and magnesium and b6 are just good for people with kidney stones.
When are you having the procedure done?
I wish you luck and hope you don't have to go through too much more pain, remember to take some tylenol if you are having alot of pain.
Take care,
JC
