Red face kidney function elevated

My doctor called and said that my kidney function was elevated just a little. What do this means?

Re: kidney function elevated

you really do need to see your doc and ask him this specific question as anything we could give you in the way of advice most likely would not help as what you were told might mean many different things. The only thing that I am possibly thinking here would be that your creatinine may be slightly elevated.it is probably the best overall test that checks on kidney function.but this alone would not tell you what is actually causing the actual kidney problem, you know what I mean?did the doc ask you to come in for further testing or what?i would make an appt to see him as soon as you can to find out just what is causing your elevated tests.he will probably have you do more specific testing and possibly have you get an ultrasound to see what your kidneys are lookin like.see your doc,and then please keep me posted here as to what you find out,K? good luck.marcia
