Pain in Left mid back below Rib cage - Kidney Disorders Message Board

I have Pains most of the time around the middle of my back on the left side below my rib cage, i also feel slightly bloated and discomfort in my stomach, have seen the GP lots with this all he gives me are anti spasm tablets, the ease the pain but whats the long term answer,
it seems to get worse with greasy or spicy foods,kidney stones have been ruled out, also brufen makes it worse please help me i am sick of been sick now and want to get better.....

Check into Gallstones, I had those... that sounds pretty similar

galstones have been investigated so have kidney stones this is not the problem have been on gastro waiting list for 6 months any other ideas also my appitite seems to be supressed somewhat and i can only eat small portions before i am full don't know if this is related or not
