Hi - I just have a quick question. Has anyone ever tried a kidney cleanser? I am trying to get off of some meds and clean my system out. I bought some Total Cleanse for Kidneys. Anyway, I have only been doing it for 2 days (today will be my 3rd) and I am retaining a ton of water (I think) in my hands and legs. Especially my right hand.

I didn't know where else to post. I hope someone here can help me.

What is your kidney problem. Is it kidney stones? Let us know and let us know more about this kidney cleanser and why you are taking it. Sorry, but I can't say anything until I know a few more details.

Hi Cora - I do not have a diagnosed kidney problem. I have taken over the counter meds and pain meds for years. I am experiencing some kidney related symptoms. I decided to do the kidney cleanse to try to help my kidneys. When I started it 2 days ago, I began to retain water. My hands are really tight and my legs are really tight. I notice in my right hand, it tingles a lot, goes numb, and then retains the most water. I was just asking to see if anyone, in general, has used a kidney cleanse and if so, if they retained more water during that time. Or if they noticed any changes in their extremeties.

If you are retaining water when taking this med there is a good possibility that it is causing problems. You should get checked out regarding blood pressure and your kidney function. If you notice this problem after only 2 days I would stop taking it.
