| Question regarding pain relief....
I am in need of some help to find some new pain meds. I have recently begun having some issues with my BP, that caused some side effects on my kidneys. Before the problems 2 months ago, I was on meds for degenerative disc syndrome. I took the max dosage of Mobic and large quantities Advil to make it so I could make it through the day. Anyways, the kidney stuff is going away, but my GP wants me to stay off of advil or anything like it for at least 6 months. My problem with this is I am in alot of pain, and it makes most day to day things unbearable. I take the max dose of tylenol that I can take, and it doesnt even touch me. My GP does not want to give me meds for my back, seeing as I have a back specialist. The back specialist has told me he is not sure what he can give me besides vicodin.
My question is, does anyone take a med that they can take once or twice a day that works similar to anti-inflammatories but does not have the same effect of NSAIDS.
