I am going for a kidney scan? - Kidney Disorders Message Board

Hi to all,

My doc refered me to urologist as i am having blood in urine and also have O.A.B. and am on Ditropan x 2 per day i had acytoscopy on tuesday urologist now wants me to have a kidney scan when it comes through hope its nothing serious.

Do u know how long u have to wait for results of kidney scan ect.

Is this the one where they inject dye in your arm or not.

Sometimes they inject dye sometimes they don't - depends on what your kidney function test reads. Either way test is fast and results come back within 24 to 48 hours depending on the facility.

I am to go for the same scan and wondering how things came out.
My DR changed my meds I was taking a med called Serzone and the Dr changed me to Lexpro thats when I started seeing blood in urine.
Any infro on this.
