Kidney Pain during & after Flu ? - Kidney Disorders Message Board

Hi all...I had the flu a few weeks ago. When I first came down with the body aches and headache .... along came a dull kidney pain(both kidneys). The dull pain continued through out the duration of the Flu and I still have the pain. It is a dull pain and I feel it mostly when I walk.
I have NO blood in my urine....it is normal color and I have NO pain while urinating. I have NO medical insurance and was wondering what does it sound like to you? And when should I worry about it? Thanks so much for any thoughts.....Tyff

Flu and fever can lead to dehydration which can lead to kidney problems or stones. Good luck!

The Flu symptoms and Kidney ache started at the same time??
I know it was the Flu...because half my family was down with it as well.
I am well over the Flu now....but still have Kidney aches?? *Thanks for your thoughts "2+" I really appreciate it
