It all depends on the seriousness of location of the stone and/or infections that it might be causing. Your .7cm (or 7mm) stone can also cause blockage of urine through the ureter, a condition that must be corrected. Don't wait too long (probably 2 months has been long enough) before lithotripsy should be done.
