I could not see my doctor so I went to a doctor that was on call with a bad pain in my side and in back on my left side, he said he thought that it could be my kidney, a stone .
well he sent me to get a ultrasound , well he said that I had a polyp in my gallbladder, but my kidneys look good, but sometime a stone was so small that a ultrasound could not pick it up, so he said he wanted me to go and get a cat scan ,since I had blood in my urine test, and the ultrasound show a polyp in my gallbladder, and I ask the doctor what did he think the polyp was and he said it could be cancer, well he told me to go to the hospital to get the ct scan. well the doctor office call and said that my report was in and come and see him and he would go over the report with me.
he said that the ct scan show a tiny gallstone in my gallbladder, and a 2 cm cyst in the upper pole of the right kidney.
How big is a 2 cm? and what is a cyst? and why did the ultrasound show a polyp in the gallbladder and in the ct scan it show a tiny gallstone? and the ultrasound show the kidney to be good, and the cat scan show a 2 cm cyst on the kideny ? thank for any help.
