Question Clear urine but still in pain..??

Hi, For over 2 months now i've been having kidney problems ,now i'm having problems still but my urine is clear most of the time.Which i've been told is a good thing but i'm not urinating much and my bladder always feels full. Before you ask ..yes I am drinking lots of water..but my out put is less than my in put by far...A few weeks ago I think i passed a kidney stone (horrid pain) .. does anyone have any clue what this could be ? I'm scedualled to see a urologist in september but it's been a long 2 months with this .......what is it ??Should i be worried that i'm not peeing much ? Could it be a blockage?

Since no one replied I'll assume waiting till september to see the specialist is the thing to do unless the pain gets worst or the blood comes back..........

Re: Clear urine but still in pain..??

It is possible you have a stone that is causing an obstruction. This will happen even if your urine is clear. Also this time of year input will be more then output due to the SWEAT factor. Clear urine siimply means you are drinking enough and your kidneys are filtering, it does not mean there can't be something wrong. If the pain is accompanied, by sweating, chills, blood in the urine (even slight discoloration), fever, body aches, etc then go to the ER or ask your uro to take you sooner.

Good luck!

Question Re: Clear urine but still in pain..??

Honestly I wouldn't be grumbling but my bladder always feels very full even after I go to the washroom and I'm contantly in air conditing because I have severe asthma and don't react well to the heat and humidity ..so very little sweating on my part. And the pain isn't sever enough for the hospital , just very uncomfortable..how painfull is a blockage ?

Re: Clear urine but still in pain..??

I had a blockage that only caused severe pain when I was getting renal colic from it. Other than that the pain was very mild. It might be a good idea to get it checked out. I had my blockage for longer than 3 months and only had the severe episodes 3 times in that time period.

Re: Clear urine but still in pain..??

You may have a bladder problem. I forgot what they call it bue over time or due to infection your bladder can lose elasticity and in sense when you do go the muscle does not fully contrast - leaving you still full. based on you beuing asthmatic I am sure once in your life (or too many times to count) they have prescribed the infamous prednisone for you - in the long term this can cause muscle problems such as what I just mentioned above. Since you are male I must ask, have you had a prostate exam - this can also cause problems - regardless of your age. I would make an appointment to see a uro. Even if the symptons are more of inconveniences then true problems these may be warning signs for a more serious condition. Good luck and please let us know how you make out.

Exclamation Re: Clear urine but still in pain..??

I'm female not male this is my hubands account that he never uses ....so I do .The pain is now located down inside my vagina , it hurts more in the evening than the day time and there is a tube like area that appears to be swollen (don't ask how I figured that out it was messy). My kidney area is still mildly achy and I still have to urinate even after I've just gone ..I always feel full and there is alot of pressure to go always ..........this has been going on for over 2 months ..I 'm sick of beeing sick...
