It is possible that this is due to something as simple as infection, or it could be due to complications from your diabetes. You need to speak to your doctor about this. It is possible that he/she will send you to a nephrologist (kidney specialist) who can give some meds and give you dietary advice. The most important thing is to control your blood sugars and avoid salt and lower your protein intake.
But first, discuss this with your doctor.
