I am looking for any outside resources who may have any ideas what is going on with me. I am usually a healthy 30yr old mother of 4. I have never smoked nor drank. In November 2007 I noticed blood in my urine and had a pain in bladder area. I went to a doctor who said it looked to be a UTI. I was given antibiotics. No culture was sent in. I noticed after 2 days on antibiotics the blood was gone. 2 weeks later I notice the blood again. I went back to the dr. who then prescribed a different antibiotic and sent in for a urinalysis. No growth was found. I then went to a Urologist who put me back on a low dose of antibiotics for 6 weeks and continued with the blood in the urine (gross hemuturia). She finally did a CT scan, IPV and cystoscopy all came back normal. She gave me another round of meds, told me she was stumped and sent me home. In March I decided to go to a new family practice doctor and start from scratch. They said I have high blood pressure now and did blood work (why the Urologist never did this is unknown). The blood work came back with high creotinine and bun levels. No growth on Urinalysis again. I have been referred to a Nephrologist but, it is a few weeks away. The longer this goes the more palpatations I have, daily. My urnine is cola colored. I still have bladder area pain. I feel like I may have some infection that is causing all of this stress and kidney problems. Any ideas, suggestions would be great. I am more than frustrated at this point!
