Normal creatinine in a female is usually around .5-1.1mg/dl. Some labs may have slightly different parameters. Remember certain drugs can cuase higher creatinine. Also, higher muscle mass can also cause it to increase.
From what I know based on creatinine only, dialysis is not usually indicated until the creatinine is >9.
Also very important to look and GFR (glomerular filtration rate) as this will tell you how well your kidneys are filtering wastes.
