Ureteroscopy after abdominal surgery - Kidney Disorders Message Board

I have a 15mm stone and a 4mm stone in my left kidney, and I'm scheduled for Ureterosopy in a week. Doing some research I've seen where you should have the procedure if you've had abdominal surgery. 5 months ago I had a total hysterectomy and I've had 2 c-sections. I meet with my doctor in a few days for pre-op, this is the question that most concerns me. Any suggestions or experiences like this I would like to hear.

Did you mean to say that you shouldn't have the proceedure if you have had abdominal surgery? How did you make out at the doctor's? I too have large stones and have had a total hysterectomy 12 mts ago and 2 CSections. I go back to my urologist in two weeks to see what she suggests for the remaining stones I have.
