i had my bladder removed 2/4 of this year and have urostomy bag. i had a Catscan 6 weeks ago which showed my Left Kindey is not draining preperly due to a blockage in the uteror ( bad spelling ) I had a dye scan done yesterday and they cannot find blockage because the bowel is obscurring the view. the scan showed a very very small drainage from the left kidney. options given. let the kidney die, insert tube into kidney and out left side of body to another bag. i asked about a stint and reply was maybe they could get wire through the urter and then maybe a stint. doctor did not hold out much hope for this though. the other is another major surgery, but since i have had 2 surgeries in Feb. he does not feel that is a good option. kidney specialist ?
