high white blood cell count

I was hospitialized for a severe kidney infection (they didn't tell me I could have died!), I have been using the AZO strips just to keep tabs on me. THe nitrites is negative but the WBC show very positive. What are the physical results of having a high white blood cell count? I get extremely nauseated, do vomit at times, severe fatigue, some times dizziness, severe sweating (when over tired) and with that the feeling that I have to get down HAVE to get down. Then I take a shower, wrap up in my sheet and turn the fan on my face. The urologist said that the WBC wasn't that important but the nitrites. Why do I still feel so lousy. He thinks this kidney infection has been building for the last 3 yrs. Can anybody help me???

Thanks gasaz
