I have had uti's in the past. the worst was a kidney infection when I was pregnant and I was very dehydrated and me and the baby (now 9 yr old) almost died. I have had like 4 more infections diagnosed since. For the past few years I have had bouts of urine that was dark and smelled almost like concentrated chicken noodle soup, then I would drink a lot of water and I would be fine. I just started topamax a month ago which has the risk of kidney stones. I now am having decreased urine output. I go fewer times a day and it is about half the output. Almost like n uti, it was almost like a uti 3 days ago, constantly going but now its not. there is no fever or pain. Is this serious or is it possibly just a uti? I thought uti's always had pain. I am afraid I have liver or kidney disease. I like to do my research and get informed opinions from people who have suffered with problem I am dealing with so I don't go into the doctors blindly, so I am not looking for a diagnosis just opinion so I can mention things to the Dr. I do have an appointment next week for my migraines, which is why I take topamax. Thanks.
