Hey lisaannD!
It sounds like you are passing a stone. If the pain is moving and you know that you don't have any other issues with other organs (like say an issue with your ovaries or uterus), there's a good chance that you've got a kidney stone. I've never had pain in my hips from stones so I can't say for sure if it's related to passing a stone or something neuromuscular (muscle or bone injury).
If you start to see blood in your urine and/or having any symptoms of a UTI, go see your doctor IMMEDIATELY.
If you do pass the stone, try to retrieve it and save it for your doctor to analyze.
Hope you're feeling better soon!
P.S.: I'm not a doctor. I just have a lot of experience with kidney stones!
