| Need help with diet after kidney stone surgery
Hi everyone,
I am a 32 year old female and just had a 6+ mm kidney stone removed about 3 months ago. They do not run in my family -- I'm the first!
I've had numerous tests run, and they are still saying I have high levels of oxalate. I lost a little over 10 pounds within the past year, and I've been led to believe that the numerous spinach salads and not enough water may have been two of the main causes.
I'm trying to keep this weight off, but now that I can't eat as much spinach, I am wondering if anyone has any lunch ideas for me? I've read a few things about low oxalate foods, but I'm not sure what's true. Can anyone also recommend a cookbook? I'm not a big breakfast eater, tend to eat salads and sandwiches for lunch, and then some sort of protein and vegetable for dinner.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much.
