| | Ongoing left flank pain for over a year
I've been having left flank pain since last July. It started off as a uti, then kidney stone, then a couple months later, a partially blocked ureter. I've had at least 2 stones since then, around 10 UTIs. 2 kidney infections. And a lot of Bladder infections. When I have very sharp pain, nothing shows up on the x-rays or ct scans. I do have endometriosis, but not around the kidneys. I did have a pyloplasty done as a child and a nephrostomy tube. I did have a nephrostomy tube places last year October- December. I get nauseous, blood in urine, flank pain (feels like a dull cramp, but gets sharp and crampy when it gets bad). It hurts worse when I move around. I don't have diabeties or arthritis. I do have GERD. My gastro doctor diagnosed me with ibs too, but I don't have that. She just said that since she didnt know what else to do. Doctors think it's scar tissue from my surgery as a child. But I don't think it would be causing these symptoms if it was. My urologist and nephrologist thinks it's not kidney related. But it just has to be from everything that's going on. I do pee out tiny black specs every once in a while. Too small to catch though. I dont know what to do. It interferes with everything in my life. Please help!
