| | low potassium levels for 2 years
I have been suffering with low potassium levels for 2 years now and haven't found a doctor yet who could explain why this is happening. I have gotten weak and almost passed out 6 or 7 times in the last 2 years and had to visit the ER. All they do is give me enough potassium pills to last until I see my doctor.
I also have problems urinating. I feel like my bladder is full and nothing will come out. I have an appointment next week with a urologist and if nothing comes of it, they are gonna have me wear a holter monitor for 24 hours to make sure it is not my heart.
I am at my wit's end with this. I have been taken from work to the ER twice in the last week. I am so depressed about this. I feel like everyone thinks I am a hypochondriac. But you can't fake low potassium levels. All the ER docs say is see your family doctor. DUH! He doesn't know what is causing it either.
If anyone is having this kind of trouble, please help me out here. Thanks in advance!
