| Anyone else have PCNL (percutaneous nephrolitho...)
I have a history of kidney stones in both kidneys. I have lots of stones in both kidneys. Have had various methods of removing stones. I had stone removed last year around this time in left kidney. They told me the right kidney is smaller on right, so they want to do the left kidney for now. Now doc says I have very large stone in same kidney. The best way to remove is PCNL where the radiologist places tube in back leading to kidney. They place hole in kidney and use tiny camera and instrument to get to stone and then break it up, then suction it out. Percutaneous Nephrolithotripsy is the technical term. There are some risks, said could happen to 1 in 100, but it still makes me nervous. I'm so sick of these #$@% stones. Anyone else have this procedure? How did it go? Thanks for any feedback.
