| Babies with ureter obstruction
During my 20 week ultrasound my daughter was diagnosed with hydronephrosis. She has some kind if blockage in her ureter causing her right kidney to stretch farther and drain slower than normal. The dr said that they would do extra ultrasounds but it would most likely fix itself. Since birth we have had an ultrasound every 3 months and 3 LAsix renalgram tests. The tests keep changing, she is now almost two and we had another dr visit last week showing the formation of kidney stones. They have decided finally to do the surgery but the dr didn't have an opening until August 22nd. I'm concerned that she will pass a kidney stone and gave to go through all that pain just because we have to wait on the dr. How will I know if it's happening? Anyone have any experience with this? Maybe had a child with either of these problems or who has gone through the surgery?
