Richard S Newbie (male) Join Date: Jun 2012 Location: London Posts: 3	Ureteric Stent pain I'm due into hospital to have a 10mm kidney stone removed from my right ureter using retrograde ureteroscopy and holmium laser. No doubt the dreaded double J stent will be inserted, my question what is the best pain control post surgery for a stent, I have had one before and found it to be really annoying whilst walking and working etc.
