Smile left kidney failed

sir,
sonograph report showing that the left kidney is very small and failed. other i e Liver,Gallbladder,Pancreas,spleen are normal.Right kidney is working well. There is no any complaint of my health. Dr. suggested to remove the kidney because of future infection of pus .Pl. advice me .

There is no "sir" here, simply other people with kidney issues who may or may not know what to tell you. In some cases if they are worried about infection or complications they will remove a dead kidney.

I would see a nephrologist or another one for a second opinion. This kidney may be working partially, and there may be a test that could help verify whether it is working at all or not. Any idea what caused that kidney trouble? Seems a reasonable question to try to preserve/protect the function of the other kidney. How is your kidney function according to BUN/Creatinine and EGFR (filtration rate). These are blood tests.
