Quick question (Important)

Ok so I've had lymphadema for a few years and I take 80 mgs twice daily to flush the extra fluid out. Well a few months ago I was diagnosed with gout. These two ordeals tell me that my kidneys aren't working the greatest. The question I have is will my kidneys work normally when I lose all of this weight or will I forever be burdened with low kidney function? Thanks
