| How fast do stones grow?
In June 2012 a CT scan for LLQ pain revealed a 5mm left kidney stone. No one mentioned I do anything with it.
In October 2012, an ultrasound revealed that the stone was now 1.4 cm. It is still asymptomatic.
1) could one of the imaging tests be wrong with the measurements?
2) can a kidney stone grow almost a full centimeter in four months?
3) what should I do with it?
I do have an appointment coming up in a few weeks with a urologist but just thought I get opinions from real people.
