| Uric Acid Level 9.0
I am a 30yr old male. I had a gout attack in my big toe in April. It went away in a few days but the swelling has been present ever since. I have had a couple of other random joints ache from time to time but never another gout attack like the one in April.
I had some blood tests done this past week and my uric acid level came back at a 9.0. My doctor said that's very high and would like to get me on medications Uloric and Colcrys. I would like to reduce uric acid naturally, is that possible? The doctor seemed to think medicine was the only way.
