| Extra-renal pelvis
I am a 60 year old woman. I just had an abdominal ultrasound. I was having a lot of nausea before as well as abdominal pain/discomfort on the right side. The results said: the right kidney measures 9.2 cm and demonstrates an extra renal pelvis with slight fullness but no significant abnormality. The left kidney is 10.1 cm and is unremarkable. I have had frequent bladder infections for years as well as a kidney infection. No stones were ever found. I also have an 8mm thickening of my uterus with minor bleeding over the last few weeks. I use some topical estrogen cream for menopausal symptoms, but otherwise do no use HRT. What does this mean? Should I make an appointment with my urologist?
