Mojobear Newbie (female) Join Date: Feb 2013 Location: Manchester, England Posts: 1	Renal abscess I have had a renal(kidney) abscess for 4 months. Eventually after 3 hospital admittances I've now had it drained, after a recent us scan they have told me I no longer have any abscess left. However I am still getting pain 6 weeks later. Does anyone know how long I should expect the pain to carry on?
