Red face 2.7mm kidney stone

Two days back I felt very severe pain in my stomach and rushed to the nearest hospital they have done CT scan and diagnose stone in my kidney which is causing pain. Now the pain has gone what should be the next step. The stone will come out with urine or I have to take medicine.

Re: 2.7mm kidney stone

You may pass the stone on your own, you may not. I had several good sized. Kidney stones for several years. They would just pass from one place to another. I could tell when they were moving because there was so much blood in my urine. We actually had to go have a lithotripsy done. That is where the Dr blasts the kidney stone. It sounds worse than it is! Then all you have to do is wait for the kidney parts to pass. Also see if you can collect the stone. They can analyze it to see what it is made up of so they can help you prevent them in the future.
