Since the majority of women who have hip replacements are too old to have babies, the subject doesn't come up that often. Your ObGyn would be your best source of detailed information about your situation.

My first hip replacement was back in 1984. I was in my 20's. Since then, I have given birth twice. I did however, have ceserean, but was not necesarily the reason of my hip. As of today, I have have 2 revisions on my right hip and one total on my left. I am living a very normal life.
