What type of pinched nerve? Where in the leg?

Often leg pain from pinched nerves can originate in the lumbar spine (depending on the type of pain, syptoms, etc). Sciatica, which is felt in the leg, is often caused by spine problems.

I was told nerve repair an inch a month, and after 18 months its all they are going to repair. My nureo told me this.

I have had a pinced nerve in my groin for at least 5 years and its getting more painful. I guess everyone is different with the healing process

You can not equate pain with a pinched nerve. When nerves are subject to compression you can have muscle weakness, changes in sensation but no pain. When the examiner does not know the diagnosis most times the patient is told, a pinched nerve.
