In December my daughter got married, and I wore heels to the wedding. The next day I had horrible pain on the back side of my leg(behind the knee), it felt like pulled tendons or something. Then I waited for it to get better and it just got worse. So I finally saw an orthopedic doc and they did an x-ray that showed there was an old injury there probably from childhood. He gave me the diganosis of osteoarthritis. I got one kenalog inj. that didn't really help then I got a decodron inj. that didn't really help, then he started me on a 3 time inj. synvisc, it's like a lubricant you get an inj. a week for 3 weeks....it took a long time but it did help. That was in Jan. now for the last 2-3 weeks I have been getting the pressure back in my knee and it really goes up to the middle of my thigh and down to the middle of my shin. It is a very strange feeling that is hard to explain. On the 18th my regular doc put me on a water pill and I did notice a big difference in the pressure. I did ask my ortho doc if that should be helping and he said probably.....Well...now the pressure is back...not quite sure what my next step would be. I REALLY don't want any more injections!! Any suggestions would be great!!
