i am just a week postop out of having my knee scoped and a lateral release done. Im wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to when is best to go back to work or school?
I currently have just next week left until exams and its vital i finish my co-op hours or else i could possibly loose my double credit, although i guess they would have to understand my situation. I saw my surgeon yesturday (monday) and he finally told me what the scibbles on the diagram of my knee meant and theres deep incisions in my knee the one side is extremly pain and is what is causing me the most of the pain its usually fine while on t3's but i am unsure of how my knee would react to having to sit in a chair from 9 am till 11 45 and have to walk to my co-op placement and do sitting work and standing and walking work.
I really love my placement i work with grade one kids and im dieing to go back but im starting to realize the state of my knee is probably important if not just or more important. Im suppost to be starting rehab this week but the physio place is booked until next week.
Whenever i try to look up any info about lateral release there really isnt that much out there. ANd anyone with any suggestions would be great i forgot to ask my surgeon about this because hes a busy busy man and it seems whenever your there your mind just wipes blank and you forget everything you were meaning to say. I guess i need to start writing it down again,
thanks for any suggestions or advice in advance

thanks a bunch,
