Artthrodesis of the Knee, Problems?
Hello, I am a Newbe. Does anyone have a knee fusion. I am a few months into mine and frustrated. I am considering a removal of it and amputation.
Any thoughts or comments greatly appreciated.

I understand knee fusions are rare these days. Why did you need one?

Fusion is a big deal. Give it at least a year before you call it a failure. And amputation following lots of other knee problems? Seldom turns out well, from what I've heard. Are you able to walk at all?

I had two staph infections and loss of bone. Yes, I walk.
