osteochondral fracture!

I am 18 yrs old, and i play aussie rules football. i injured my knee, had an MRI, x ray etc. had an arthroscopy. there was a osteochondral fracture within the femur and quite a large hole in my cartlidge. I had the surgery in May

i was wondering if any1 has had this knee problem? i cannot find much information on the net about recovery from this injury. Will my knee ever b 100% again? Sport and exercise is my life! all comments would be apriciated
