I have been having problems wiht my knees for quite some time but know my hip is starting to act up. When I walk my knee starts to pop out partially but then doesnt. When I move to to the left with out moving my right leg, just my left, my right hip also starts to pop out, and sometimes it does. Also when I am walking it feels like I fell super hard on my hip the day before even though I didnt? Any ideas?
Your knee, hip, and ankle rely on each other to stay in alignment and work properly together. If your knee is not working properly and causing you pain, you're gait is most likely off, this will cause your hips to have problems and also be very painful, you can develop bursitis in your hips relatively easily if your knees are off. You should probably go and see an Orthopedic doctor and get these problems looked at, as they will probably just continue to get worse.
You really should seek out a physician. It sounds as though your ligaments may be lax and can result in complete dislocation. When it comes to the knee generally it's the anterior cruciate ligament that is the offender. Either way it's best to get looked at to prevent further complications.

No matter how great your illness or pain, there's always someone else who may be worse off.
My knee problems started in 1968 when I tore my ACL. I had TKA in 06. A month before the surgery I had intense pain in the other knee. After arthroscopy surgery on that knee was told I would need TKA on it also. I was blown away. I have never had problems with that knee.
Then about 15 months after TKA I started having hip pain. Everyone thought is was an adjustment to my gait. After trying everything the OS did a CT scan and it showed that I would need a hip replacememt to relieve the pain. The other hip shows normal wear. I think all my problems are related to the orignial injury.
