knee replacement recovery time

Why do I have an abnormal amount of scar tissue which keeps my flexion to a minimum?

Re: knee replacement recovery time

This is not unusual and may require a "manipulation" under anesthesia to break up the scar tissue. Some people just form more scar tissue than others and sometimes it's from physical therapy that was not aggressive enough to keep it from forming in the first place.

If they do the manipulation, keep moving after wards so it doesn't form again.

good luck...........Jenny
