| knee giving out
I hope there is someone out there who can help me. I have been having pain in my shin and right below the total knee replacement (6 yrs ago) the Dr. did a bone scan and couldn't find anything wrong, he showed me a little "nicrosis" which he said is normal...he has not been listing to me and when I showed him a diagram of where the pain is he pushed it aside. told me to take calcium and come back in 6 months. I am in the process of trying to get my records sent over to a new Dr. but this has been a hassel in itself. Seems the Dr. is out of town and he has to sign off to release them. The nurses have given my hydrocodine which I only take a half when I really need it. This morning my leg gave out and I had to sit back down immediately after some rubbing and putting on a patch that I got from a friend, it helped. But still hurts and feels like it is going to give out again. Has anyone had this experience? I am waiting to see the new Dr. which at the earliest will be a week or two.
