| 8 months after Patella fracture?
Hi there,
I'm 36, male, 200lbs and usually pretty active... until this.
I broke my patella into 4 peices in Dec 09. The upper piece went way up my leg and the lower was broken into 3 and dragged down (out of the knee area as well).
I had surgery. They wrapped the cap in wire to hold it together and sent me off. I still have the wire in there and my knee is still quite big in size.
Can ANYONE tell me if they feel better after a patella fracture? I have torn my ACL, broken ankles, wrists and a bunch of other stuff.... but this is CRAZY.
9 months after injury and still can't do anything fun like play hockey or soccer.
How long did it take YOU to get better??
