Anterior hip recovery/hamstring pain
I had Anterior Approach Hip replacement in Sept. My recovery was amazing. However, I've dealt with hamstring pain since the surgery on the operated side. I tried Physical Therapy, massage, chiropractor, etc. I still have this pain. It's most noticeable when going up stairs, laying in bed and turning from one side to the other, trying to bend, etc. It's quite painful. No amount of stretching exercises seem to help. I had an improper gait for a few years before the surgery and this is probably contributing to this problem. I would really like to hear from others who have had this kind of surgery.
