| hubby's hip replacement surgery tomorrow
Well, tomorrow is the day for his 5th hip surgery. The first set lasted 17 years and he had a revision 3 years ago. He started complaining a year after the replacement but the dr kept saying the xrays looked good though he mentioned it looked like a cyst was behind the cup. He switched surgeons and it was determined the cup material had broken down causing an autoimmune reaction that is destroying his hip bone. So tomorrow it all comes out,cleaning of the tissue, cadaver grafting and screws and new parts. He should be good to go on this hip. When he is up to it he will do the other side.
