Osteochondral defect of right knee

I am 46 yo female and was injured during my sons football practice (the QB ran into me). The trauma damaged the articular cartilage on the medial aspect of my femor. After 2 1/2 months of "pre-hab" I have been put on a waiting list for a fresh osteochondral allograft for transplantation. Has anyone else had this procedure done? If so, how long did you have to wait for the donor allograft? I know recovery will involve non weightbearing for extended time and to expect 9-12 months before regain "normal" function.. Appreciate any and all thoughts!
