Re: Anterior Hip Replacement with "Mini Hip"
My daughter-in-law's dad had it done in June. He was so thrilled. He did use a walker afterwards for a few weeks, but he was so happy to be pain-free. Tiny incision. My husband had recommended the surgeon as he did my husband's replacement in January but couldn't do the mini because my husband had already had replacements and this surgery had to repair bone etc. The surgeon came from Boston and moved out here to Calif. Not all doctors do it, but wow what a great way. The incision is so much smaller and less muscle cut
