| Clicking
Last year I had 2 metal plates put in after a motorcycle crash. Everything has been fine upto about a month ago when I felt a snap and everytime I walked there was a lot of clicking coming from my left hip area. I have since had several x-rays including a CT scan with a radioactive dye injected into me last week. The results showed nothing had broken and that the metal plate and screws are intact and have not broken and everything looked fine.
My abductor muscles have been tight due to the injury but they have started to have been stretched due to exercise that I have been doing to get me back to a level of fitness.
What could be causing this clicking. It does not look like a labrum tear. Could it be a muscle which has been torn and moving and latching over a joint causing a clicking ??
There has been a nagging pain but this has lessened and the clicking is not as bad as it first was.
Has anyone else had the same or similar ??
